We wanted to say a special thank you to Didier and Agńes Delaune and Didier Delaune for setting this tour up and making it happen. We love performing in France and we’re all excited to be returning!

imageimage image image imageHey folks, 2016 has started off for me here at sea. Having a blast doing the Million Dollar Quartet on the ship and visiting the beaches of the Virgin Islands and my favorite spot in Nassau called the Greycliff hotel.
In music news, I’m currently working on the fifth album due out some time early this year. The boys and I may also be playing a few shows in France as well. More info to come soon. Take care and be cool!

imageimageHey folks, I’m excited to announce that I have accepted the role of Sam Phillips in the Million Dollar Quartet aboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest and largest ship, the Norwegian Escape.

Next week, I’ll be flying out to Tampa, FL, where I’ll be rehearsing for a month. Then flying to Germany, where the ship will embark on it’s maiden voyage. We’ll be sailing weekly seven-day cruises from our homeport of Miami to the Eastern Caribbean until the end of February. Long before I ever picked up a guitar, I was a stage actor. So, I’m really looking forward to getting back to my acting roots while working up new songs for the fifth album.

Cheers!

This just in, Moot’s song “Wanna Go Back” will be featured in the hit F/X show Justified this Tuesday, March 31.  The song was part of 2014’s critically lauded CD Goin In Hot, released by Crow Town Records.

Based on Elmore Leonard’s novella “Fire in the Hole,” Justified was developed by Graham Yost and stars Timothy Olyphant as ‘Deputy US Marshal Raylan Givens’, a lawman who finds himself drawn back to his home state of Kentucky. This January, in Justified’s final season, the long brimming conflict between Raylan and Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) will finally come to a head.

Ultra popular blog Saving Country Music has named Moot’s latest CD Goin’ In Hot as one of 2014’s top albums.  The reviewer, Trigger, says it’s “both timeless and relevant, and satiates all sectors of your salivating country music palette”.

Moot is tearing across the country on his way to Los Angeles for some much needed R&R after a long year of touring.  Here’s some cool press from Kudos AZ for his upcoming encore appearance at the Sound Bites Grill in Sedona, AZ on Nov 21, 2014:

Sound Bites Grill proudly presents the return of Moot Davis on Friday, Nov. 21, as a solo act. Be prepared. Moot is best known for some great rockin’ up tempo country music — red-hot, in your face, ants in your pants, longneck in your hand, sweetheart in your arms barroom boogie time when he performs with his band. This evening will be a unique opportunity for you to see him with no cover in an up close and intimate solo performance. This is a rising trend among artist getting back to smaller venue performances.
